Traditional Outfit of Each Country

Here are the outfits of 10 different countries such as:


Lao

Has an influenced from India and China, and these reflections are reflected throughout Lao in his language such as literature and the performing art. One more thing, the life way and behaves. Further more, Lao traditional custom is called Xout Lao (Lao outfit) and it can be worn by both men and women, also children. Xout Lao for women usually consists of a Sinh, either a blouse or a Suea Pat, and a Pha Biang. Xout Lao for men includes a Pha Hang or pants, a shirt similar to Raj pattern, with optional knee-length, white pair of socks and a Pha Biang. These outfits would be wearing on the wedding day, important festival and Lao New Year.


Japan

Japan clothing is typically divided into Western clothing (洋服 yōfuku) and Japanese clothing ( wafuku). Japan traditional clothes are still in use nowadays, they mainly wear in the ceremonies and special events, funerals, coming-of-age ceremonies (seijin skiki), and festivals. Japanese clothing consisted entirely of a great variety of Kimono, and in first appeared in the Jomon period, with no distinction between male and female.


Korea

The top part called Jeogori (the blouse with long sleeves, for men's version would be longer, stretching down to the waist), the skirts called Chima, while men wear baggy pants (Paji). Mostly, the garments would be in white color, except during festivals and the special occasions such as wedding, attending upper class, it would made with the bright colors and indicated the wear's social status. Various accessories such as footgear, jewelry, and headdresses or hairpins completed the outfit.


India

Woman's clothes in India vary widely and are closely associated with the local culture, religion and climate. Indian traditional clothes for women in the North and East are Saris or Ghagra Cholis and Lehengas, while many South wear Sari and children wear Pattu Pavadai. Saris made out of silk, which considered the most elegant. The traditional style of clohting in India varies eith male or female distinctions, but it is still following in the rural areas, though is changing in the urban areas.
                                      

Philippine

There are several traditional garments of clothing that are won by the people of Philippine. Women normally wear Baro't Saya. They also wear the heavily starched, butterfly-sleeved terno (pronounced tee-AIR-no) and a match long skirt on the formal occasions. For men, there are the Barong Tagalog (pronounced BAH-rong tah-GAH-lawg), an embroidered outer shirt, and worn unturned, also wear a hat (salakot). The shirt has collars, long sleeves and mid-thigh horizontal hemline with side slits. It is made from pina (pineapple fibers), jusi (raw silk) or ramie (grass fibers).


Malaysia

Malaysia comprises three cultures such as Chinese, Malay, and Indian. For this reason, Malaysia's traditional dresses has many different form. Baju Melayu (Baju means clothing) is a traditional clothes of Malasia. It usually consists of a loose tunic worn over trousers with a sarong wrapped around a man's hip. For women, Baju Kurung is a knee length blouse worn over a long skirt, and a headscarf or a shawl (headscarves). Mostly, Malaysian dresses as Westerners do only Muslim women that wear long skirts/pants and headscarves everyday. But on the special occassions, people from each ethnic group wear, would wear their traditional clothes.


Islam


Muslim across the globe dress differently. As we notice, Islam is not wearing the reveal clothes, so their clothes would be the full headdresses for women. Also, there has varies names depending on the country they are living. Instant for, Hijab is use for Muslim women’s modest dress. It refers to a square/rectangular piece of fabric, which is folded, placed over the head, and fastened under the chin as a head scarf. Burqa is a type of veil and body covering conceals all of a woman’s body, including the eyes, which are covered with a mesh screen and commonly in Afghanistan.


Myanmar (Burma)

Has been heavily influenced by Buddhism and the Mon people. His neighbors India, Thailand, and China have also influenced Burmese’s culture. The typical garment of Myanmar is the Indian lungi/longyi, which is a sarong worn by both men and women. For business and formal occasions, Bamar men wear Manchu Chinese jacket.

Germany


Women in the Bavrian region of Southern Germany traditionally wore the “dirndl”, a folk dress that comprised a full skirt, blouse, bodice, and apron. One more thing, to know the German lady is single or Married, just look to the tied on the apron, if they tie on the left means she is single, but if it is on the right means she already married. In the modern times, women rarely wear the dirndl in its original form, although, variants of traditional dress (also known as Tracht) have become fashionable again with young people. In Alpine regions, men used to wear leather trousers (was known as Lederhosen), and they would wear for the formal of traditional events such as wedding or folk festival.


Mexico


Mexico’s traditional customs are combined from the native and European influence, with a particular focus on the use of textile made locally. There are many traditional events in Mexico, but the Cinco di Mayo and the Day of the Dead are the most famous events. More over, typical women clothing include a multicolored frilled skirt such as Huipil (kind of sleeveless tunic), Quechquemitl (a closed shoulder cape), and Rebozo (kind of shawl).
